Favorite too-lazy-to-cook-dinner dish:

Pork egg rolls

White rice and soy sauce

Orange juice

My cousin, who lives in Connecticut is getting married this summer! So my mom had to get the traditional outfits for the traditional tribal wedding. This is the hat my cousin’s husband will be wearing. It is made out of pure gold and I couldn’t figure out what the black part of it is made out of. I wanted to try it on so bad, but my mom wouldn’t let me.

COCAINE! SNIFF SNIFF haha just kidding, this is how the egg rolls had to be wrapped up to preserve them until my mom got back to the U.S.

So my mom is back from Ivory Coast! She had fun and brought me my egg rolls (yes it is odd for me to ask for egg rolls from Africa, but they taste so much better than the ones here!) She also brought me some bracelets. My dad actually brought these items and gave them to her to bring. But anyways, in this picture is my beautiful aunt Ginette and her husband. They got married in Ivory Coast and I think my mom went to the wedding. I haven’t seen my aunt in forever! The last time I remember seeing her was when I was about 6. Time flies so fast..

The bunny in my backyard. I named him Jorge! =}

Being random at school

So I burnt my neck while cooking breakfast yesterday for my little brother. The hot butter splash on my neck as I flipped the pancake. Oh well..

I believe that there is no such thing as the end of the world or doomsday. Eventually everyone will experience their own apocalypse depending on how God chooses it to be; He decides the time, place, circumstance, and cause of our death. It’s not necessarily the “wrath of God”. Just the end of your life on this planet. The end of the world for you as an individual. Some people’s life end early and some people’s life seem to go on forever. In the end everyone will die. If the end of the world was to ever occur as dramatic and mythical as many beliefs describe it, it simply means that the people who live to witness this tragedy were destined to die that day.

I don’t feel motivated to do anything at all. In a moment I’ll make myself some popcorn and lock myself in my room and hopefully get some work done. I was supposed to go to the art store to get a canvas for my art project, but I’m being so emo right now. It’s raining and cold and I don’t feel like driving. I fear that things might get from bad to worst, you know? What if I get into an accident or something crazy or run into someone I don’t want to see. I hope tomorrow is a better day for me.

The Virgins- Teen Lovers

One of my favorite bands! This song has been stuck in my head all day so it’s only right that I blog about it.
